The mala has always been used by Buddhists and Hindus during the recitation of mantras. Compared to the prayer beads, it allows one to concentrate one’s mind on meditation. Traditionally, it is made of Rudraksha beads alone or may be alternated with some semi-precious stones beads.
Rudraksha beads are considered sacred in various Asian cultures and carry great energy. Grown in India, they are actually the seeds from the Elaeocarpus angustifolius tree, and are known to bring inner peace, clarity of mind and a path to life.
Carnelian beads are believed to allow us direct our creation strength and help us bring out our emotions, due to their connection with the sacral chakra. They strengthen our courage and self-confidence.
Silver opens access to our subconscious mind, guiding us into the world of deep inner self-reflection, visualisation and empathic love.
This Pray & Love bracelet resonates with the 2nd chakra, the sacral chakra. A vector of creativity which helps us maintain fruitful relationships.
- Sit down in a quiet place where you can relax and feel at ease.
- Choose a container of water into which you will place some fresh flowers. Add your Wisdom bracelet.
- Chant the mantra “OM HREEM NAMAH SHIVAYA OM”. It translates to the tears of Shiva.
- You can now wear your bracelet for meditation or in your daily life. The beads are charged and ready to transmit their benefits to you.
The beads that make it up naturally have beneficial properties and so you can wear your mala bracelet without going through the ceremony above.
Over time, the beads of your mala will accumulate energies. At some point you will feel that it is time to clean it. Practicing the following procedure is important to discharge and reset the energies of your bracelet:
- Place the mala under running water and touch each bead with the intention of cleaning it
- Let it air dry
- Once dry, you can then rub a little natural oil on each bead.
We love its orange colour which brings us courage. Carnelian is known to strengthen the body, help accept one’s sensuality and sexuality and improve fertility through its association with the second chakra. For expectant mothers, carnelian is particularly known to provide protection for the baby.
We love to wear this bracelet, whether for a meditation session, during a yoga class or simply as an accessory to embellish our outfits and benefit from its good virtues.
Mala Spirit – Made with love, an offering from Bali
The heart of Mala Spirit creations is the Rudraksha bead, from the Eleocarpus tree, which brings the wisdom and power of the ancient sages to today’s world in the form of contemporary malas. The Rudraksha is combined with gemstones, which are different for each piece and give it its own personality in terms of colour and chakra benefits. Each piece is handmade and blessed in Bali.
