The mala is a prayer accessory traditionally used in the Buddhist and Hindu religions. It helps to focus one’s mind on the recitation of mantras.

Rudraksha beads are generally used to create malas. They are harvested in a sustainable way. The necklaces and bracelets are then produced and traded fairly and ethically. The malas are handmade under socially responsible working conditions.

Amethyst helps us to transcend old patterns and habits that no longer serve us, by unfolding our spirituality.

Lapis Lazuli is the stone of the ancient priesthood and royalty. It opens our third eye and helps us to experience our feelings in self-knowledge.

Rock crystal is the mineral of light and self-knowledge. It promotes clarity and awakens our brilliant faculties. It is the symbol of spirit and consciousness.

Lavender quartz is sparkling and loving, it reconnects the soul and the heart, creating a radiance that makes all our senses clearer. It teaches us to see and experience the possibility of well-being and peace.

These stones resonate with four different chakras. The fourth chakra, the heart chakra, in which your love, compassion and kindness are strengthened.

Then the fifth chakra, the throat chakra, which gives voice to your personal truths.

The sixth chakra, called the third eye, opens your mind to information beyond the material world and the five senses.

Finally, the seventh chakra, the crown chakra, is the pure energy of consciousness.

Care instructions
Mala Spirit offers you a ceremony to transmit your intentions to your Peace necklace. By nature, the beads already carry energy, however, this ritual allows you to create a connection with your mala. Monday, the day dedicated to the god Shiva, is the ideal day to perform it:

  • Place yourself in a quiet space and make yourself comfortable. You should be able to relax
  • Take a small container (a bowl for example) and fill it with water, place some fresh flowers. Dip your mala into it
  • Seek to reach a state of serenity. A stick of incense can help you do this. Once you have reached this feeling, cleanse each of the beads in your mala while conveying your intentions to them. Imagine the beads protecting you and infusing you with their energy
  • Aloud or in your thoughts, repeat the mantra “OM HREEM NAMAH SHIVAYA OM”. It represents the tears of Shiva
  • Your mala is now ready to be worn, filled with your unique energy. Enjoy its virtues during your meditation sessions and in your daily life.

By wearing your Peace mala necklace regularly, its beads will absorb all kinds of energies. Through this process, help it to discharge :

  • Under running tap water, place your necklace
  • Touch each bead with the intention of cleaning it
  • To dry, ideally hang the mala in the open air outside
  • When dry, a little natural oil on each bead will help them gain shine.

Why we love it
The combination of different semi-precious stones makes this mala particularly elegant and refined. The purple hues of the amethyst and lavender quartz, as well as the midnight blue of the lapis stone, blend perfectly with the Rudraksha beads.

This Mala Spirit necklace also differs from most models by the large number of stone beads and the absence of a wire tassel, replaced here by an amethyst pendant.

We like to wear this necklace, whether it is for a meditation session, a gentle yoga practice or simply as a piece of jewellery to complement our outfits and feel the benefits of the beads. It can also be worn as a bracelet, wrapped around the wrist.

Each Spirit Mala necklace is carefully handcrafted from authentic, sustainably harvested Rudraksha beads and is made into a necklace in an ethically conscious manner.

No two malas are alike. They are made of natural materials, and the shades of the gemstones can vary. In this respect too, each piece is unique

Mala Spirit – Made with love, an offering from Bali

The heart of Mala Spirit creations is the Rudraksha bead, from the Eleocarpus tree, which brings the wisdom and power of the ancient sages to today’s world in the form of contemporary malas. The Rudraksha is combined with gemstones, which are different for each piece and give it its own personality in terms of colour and chakra benefits. Each piece is handmade and blessed in Bali.
